But more importantly it’s my birthday! Happy 19th to me! I don’t know about you but I am one of those people that gives myself presents on special occasions, haha! No one knows me better than me, right? This year I opened my laptop to find the Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide downloaded. I really shouldn’t have, but I did.
I’m one week in and I probably already ate my results away in cake… It was my birthday weekend, don’t judge me. As a person who likes to think of herself highly & semi-hippie enough to live without hate I will admit to one thing. I hate Kayla. No, I actually love her. I just hate burpees, squat jumps, or anything that makes me jump. BBG is a tough one but that’s why I like it so much. Workouts get very boring for me and it is hard to keep motivation but so far I’ve been excited to see what hell I will be going through during the week.
I won’t be posting any before shots for now. Maybe at the end of my 12 weeks I will or at the end of the first 4 weeks, but for now I am going to keep those to myself. At most I’d say that I have a typical amount of chubbiness around my stomach but I am mostly doing BBG to gain. I can admit to having toothpick arms & legs with absolutely no bum so my goal for these 12 weeks is to tone up my lower body, strengthen my core, & possibly be able to do 10 pull ups! I will be talking progress & reviews in between every set of weeks (1-4, 5-8, 9-12), now that I’ve shared it I can’t go back. I have to finish!
