Gluten and Dairy Free Waffles?

Hello Lovelies! So I have been really busy in the mornings, most days I have to be out of the house before 9 am.
I know, it’s actually not that bad but I am struggling with it! I would be lucky if I can eat before I leave the house…as I often press the snooze button to catch some extra zzz’s and forget all about breakfast. Hands down, my all-time favorite meal is breakfast! Missing out on it was killing me until I had the wonderful idea to make breakfast for dinner!

I would like to introduce you to the healthy waffle!
All you will need is a waffle maker, a food processor, and some ingredients:
·         ½ cup Oats

·         One banana

·         One egg

·         Sweetener of choice

·         Optional goods!
To get it all started just toss the oats into the food processor and grind it all up into flour, we did this in my healthy crepe recipe. Prepare to get messy, if you have children I think this will be something they will enjoy because you are about to mash up that banana! I used my hands, but looking back I think there are less-messy ways to mash it all up. Just add the banana mush to the oat flour, crack open that egg, and add a sweetener of choice. I prefer adding a sweetener to my batter; it shakes things up a bit! Now it’s the time to add anything you would like into the batter. I chose to add cinnamon and some good o’ peanut butter! Go ahead and add whatever you fancy. Mix up that deliciousness!

Now that your batter is all finished, heat up your waffle maker and oil that baby up! When it’s ready pour the batter onto it.

Ta’daa! You are standing in the presence of two very delicious waffles. Yes, this recipe makes enough for two; however, I am only showing you one of them for the sake of me thinking the picture looked better that way.

Now go ahead and drizzle more sweetener on top because you deserve to spoil your sweet tooth!
